When some of the university is closing their learning process on that very moment this university has taken the challenge to shift the balance of higher education toward technology. GUCETL have well ahead plan to run the online classes by training up the faculty, staff and students to carry on their regular activities. This university has started to proceed towards online teaching learning activities by forming E-learning committee on 16 March 2020. GUCETL played a vital role in this E-learning committee. E-learning committee submitted its suggestions to go for online classroom using zoom basic app on 18 March 2020 and on 19 March 2020 the GUCETL started the training of the faculty member for conducting online classes. This was a prompt action under the circumstances of COVID 19 pandemic and lockdown. The university created a online teaching guideline and for students and faculty members with the support of GUCETL. GUB used the time 18-31 march 2020 by preparing the students and faculty members through online demo classes. They have also encouraged and supported the students to participate from rural area as they already went for home for their own safety. At the beginning there was a mixed response from the students. But due to the dedication and continuous effort of faculty members and authorities, it’s become possible to start formal classes from 1 April 2020.
