
Center of Excellence for Teaching and Learning (CETL) organized an online event titled "GIFT Project Presentation and Certificate Giving Ceremony" on Friday the 30th of December, 2022 at 2:30 pm. The event was hosted on online meeting platform ZOOM where the GIFT 9th and GIFT 10th batch students presented their group projects that they have been working on during their course.
The Honorable Vice Chancellor of GUB, Prof. Dr. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir was invited as the chief guest of the program. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Tareque Aziz, honorable Dean, GBS and Prof. Dr. Farhana Helal Mehtab, honorable Dean, Faculty of Law, Arts & Social Sciences were also present as special guests while the Honorable Director of CETL, Prof. Dr. ASM Shihavuddin was present as the session chair. An opening speech was delivered by him followed by the presentation of five different projects from five different teams consisting of GIFT students.
The prestigious “Green-university Initiatives for Future Transformers” program requires its students to team up as groups to establish one innovative project during their time as GIFT students that promises to help some cause of social welfare and transformation. Therefore, the attendees got to witness what these five teams: "Bit-squad", "Kepler 22B", "Cambiar", "Ideas r Us" and Team Circuit showcase what their projects were about and how much these projects have impacted upon execution.
At the end of the presentations, Honorable VC, Prof. Dr. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir and Honorable Dean, GBS, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Tareque Aziz and Honorable Director of CETL, Prof. Dr. ASM Shihavuddin shared their insightful thoughts and reactions to the projects.
Finally, Asst. Prof. Arifa Rahman, Facilitator of CETL gave the vote of thanks to the Honorable guests of the session and wrapped it up with a quick snap with everyone coming live on camera.
